Thank you for the lecture it was insightful. When starting a design build firm is it beneficial to have two people running the business? For example, one who focuses more attention on the design aspect and another who deals with more of the building environment.
ReplyDeleteSince Mr. Nguyen cannot respond to you on this, I will. I believe in their case, having two was critical. One of them focused strongly on construction while the other explored design in other ways. Then the two came together to do work in construction before they began their design build practice. Both of them are equally sensitive and as involved in both processes, but certainly in most firms, partners divide up their responsibilities based on the function of practice as a business.
